Ashok N. Srivastava is Senior Vice President and Chief AI Officer at Intuit, where he leads the company’s AI strategy spanning research, platform innovation, responsible AI, and governance. He is responsible for advancing next generation AI native experiences, scaling foundational AI capabilities, and ensuring that innovation translates into measurable customer and business impact. His work focuses on combining scientific rigor with operational excellence to deliver high velocity execution at enterprise scale, powering prosperity for consumers and businesses worldwide.
Since joining Intuit in 2017, Ashok has played a central role in shaping the company’s AI transformation as Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer. he built and scaled a world class AI, analytics, and data organization that became foundational to deliver revolutionary customer experiences with speed and precision. Under his leadership, Intuit developed its proprietary Generative AI Operating System, GenOS, democratizing AI development across the company and enabling thousands of technologists to design, build, and deploy intelligent experiences responsibly and at scale.
Prior to Intuit, Ashok served as Vice President of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Systems and Chief Data Scientist at Verizon, where he led global teams building revenue generating AI driven products and platforms. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Blue Martini Software and IBM, consistently operating at the intersection of advanced technology, product innovation, and business value creation.
Ashok is an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University and serves on a National Academy of Sciences committee on aviation safety. He has also held governance roles overseeing multibillion dollar endowments at the University of Colorado Foundation. He founded and served as Editor in Chief of the AIAA Journal of Aerospace Information Systems.
He is a Fellow of the IEEE, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and an Honorary Fellow of the Aeronautical Society of India. His honors include the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal, the IBM Golden Circle Award, the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award, and multiple academic fellowships.
